JOE BOZZELLI
Carpenter
Joe strives to bring a builder’s eye and precision to everything he touches, honed over years of hands-on work in commercial carpentry, modular steel construction, and residential renovation.
Before joining Shelton, Joe fabricated and assembled modular steel buildings for heavy industry, working steel stud framing, commercial door and window installation, and finish systems on tight production schedules, and got his start in the trades doing full-scope residential renovation work in Ontario, Canada.
Joe spent over a decade in corporate accounting and technology consulting, project managing technology conversions for Fortune 500 companies, before trading the office for the job site.
Since 2007, he has owned and operated a 10-acre organic farm northeast of Pittsburgh, where Joe designed and hand-built a straw bale home and several outbuildings - a project featured in a documentary about energy-efficient homes, and one that put his construction instincts to the test long before he brought them to Shelton.
Outside of work, Joe manages Slate Lick Cemetery and has served as President and Line Officer for Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Company, showing up for his community however he can.
