KENDALL SOLER
Interior Design Director / Associate
Kendall Soler is the Interior Design Director at Shelton, where she leads the design of thoughtfully personalized spaces shaped by how her clients actually live and work. She believes a space needs to function first and foremost for the people who use it and that understanding their routines, habits, and ways of living should ultimately drive the design. From there, she brings a strong point of view, a love of materiality and craftsmanship, and an obsessive attention to detail to create spaces that feel considered, personal, and distinctly their own. You should be able to walk through the door and immediately know whose space it is.
Kendall holds a Bachelor of Science in City Planning from Texas A&M University and a Master of Interior Architecture from Chatham University. Her background in planning and interior architecture informs a holistic approach to design, considering not only how a space looks, but how it connects to the people, context, and daily life around it. She also serves as a commissioner on the Pittsburgh Art and Civic Design Commission, contributing to conversations around the quality and character of the city's built environment.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Kendall now calls Greenfield home, where she lives with her husband. Outside of the studio, she spends her time painting, taking on woodworking projects, and generally finding ways to keep making things with her hands.
